The majority of BOS personnel you run into are cloned NPC’s, therefore I would like to know if there is a mod that allows you to alter the clothing and weaponry these ‘uniform’ NPC’s spawn with, so that I can build up an armoured suit using the standard ‘BOS Uniform’ with additional pieces of combat armour? (If there is a mod that also allows me to modify their stats, even better!) (At times the Gunners seem to be better equipped with the BOS personnel you run into, and their suppose to be a band of rag-tag mercenaries without access to sophisticated manufacturing facilities)
I know that Power Armour in Fallout 4 had been heavily modified and improved, and so for every BOS Initiate, Aspirant and Knight to have their own suit of power armour would make them very overbalanced, however I still feel that with the exception of the Knights, the ‘BOS Fatigues’ clothing all other BOS personnel are equipped with (the bulk of their ground forces) is somewhat boring. (Above the Talon company mercenaries, who themselves were above the raiders, and so on) The reason I ask this is that from a lore perspective, I do find particular factions somewhat bland and forgettable in how they look.Īs I remember from Fallout 3, this faction was suppose to be a small elite force of professional soldiers, almost all of which had to their own suits of power armour which as one faction among many in the wasteland, really made them feel unique as a fighting force. I’m probably going to restart the game from the beginning, however before I do this I was wondering if there was a mod compatible with the Xbox One that allows players to alter the physical clothing and armour of particular factions. I completed the main Fallout 4 story-quest today by aligning with the Minutemen to destroy the Institute, however I feel I may have missed a large part of the games content by not pursuing the quests with the BOS, RailRoad and Institute further.
